SIMS RETURN POLICY
This is to assure you that every product offered for sale on our website or offline retail stores nationwide is brand new, of genuine quality and complete with the full warranty of the Original Product Manufacturer.
Every product purchased online is well inspected before leaving our warehouse for delivery to the customer.
‘Return’ is defined as the action of receiving from a buyer an item purchased on the Sims website due to any of the following:
- Item was defective
- Item was damaged during the shipping/loading process
- Product/s was/were missing
- Wrong item was sent
‘Replacement’ is defined as the action or process of making another item available in place of another.
We encourage buyers to review the listing before making the purchase decision. In the event that a buyer orders a wrong item, the buyer shall not be entitled to a return/refund.
In order to take advantage of your rights under this Return Policy, you must follow the correct procedure by contacting us within 7 working days after receiving the initial product and providing your order details and reasons for return.
Among others, the following are the leading reasons:
- Damage in the course of delivery
- Item was defective
- Item Dead on Arrival
- Item(s) were missing
- Wrong item sent
Upon receipt, we will check and let you know whether the ordered product is eligible for return or not. If the product is eligible to be returned based on our policy, you will be contacted to send the product back to us.
Kindly note that in the event that Sims accepts the replacement or refund request, you will be required to ensure the product is returned in good condition. Ensure that it is packed very well so it reaches us safely. It is important to stress that the product MUST be returned with all the freebies and accessories such as cords, adapters, and documentations supplied with the product, if any.
Once we receive the product, we will check if it is returned as per the terms and conditions of our Return Policy.
If everything is as per our policy terms, then your request will be approved for a refund or replacement, at our sole discretion. In this case, you are entitled to a replacement or a refund. Kindly note that replacement cases are subject to availability of the product at the time of the return process.
NOTE: Replacement will be processed within 14 business days after receiving the product at our end.
For refunds, this will be processed to the same credit card or bank account which was used while placing the order. Refunds will be initiated within 3 (three) business days of receiving the product at our end and the refund value will be credited in to your account within 14 business days after initiating the refund.
If you are not interested in a refund and/or replacement of the same product or the same product is not in stock, then you can opt for any other product currently listed on our website, provided that the replacement product is equal to the price of the product being returned.
There are some items, however, that are ineligible for return. These include:
Opened electronic software and hardware.
Products that were clearly and accurately stated in the product description.
Electronic and electrical equipment with proof of damage resulting from: impact, sand, liquid or moisture damage; dropping, mishandling or tampering; battery or chemical corrosion; damage caused by connected equipment; or use contrary to the applicable instruction manual.
Defects or damages which are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
Products that are not returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the box, manufacturer’s packaging, if any, and all other items originally included with the product(s) delivered.
NOTE: A non-defective product shall only be accepted, if a customer is requesting for an exchange. Products sold in a clearance sale are final and are not eligible for return.
